Marine geophysics
BGR is conducting geophysical surveys in several regions of the world oceans within marine research projects. A wide spectrum of state of the art geophysical equipment, partly designed in co-operation with BGR, is used to acquire geophysical data of the seafloor. The spectrum of BGR’s geophysical instruments covers:
- marine seismics
- marine gravity
- magnetics
- heat flow measurements
